Romania: To add 3.692GW of solar power capacity in the next 10 years
Romania plans to invest more than 22.6 billion euros in its energy sector over the next decade, according to the government's Energy Strategy (Draft) 2020-2030, the Economy Ministry has revealed.
Romania aims to meet 30.7 percent of its energy needs from renewable sources by 2030, compared with 24.4 percent at present.
Over the next decade, Romania intends to increase its installed energy production capacity by 35%, including an additional 2,302 MW of wind power capacity and 3,692 MW of solar power capacity, thus ensuring greater energy independence. (News from guangfu.bjx)
